brought delicious Christmas dinner, everything was great and friendly!

We had Christmas dinner today (barbecued duck with red cabbage and dumplings as well as kale), everything tasted excellent. The portions were optimal and the price was right. The staff was also very friendly at the handover. We will definitely order again next year.

Ordered food, pork knuckle, schnitzel and venison goulash. Everything prepared to the fullest satisfaction and finished on time. Nice service, friendly and courteous. Moderate prices - you should order more often here, especially now in CORONA times .....

We have been to this restaurant several times now. The decor is quaint but cozy. The food is always excellent and reasonably priced. The staff is really nice too. Out-of-home sales now also work extremely well in Corona times.

Well not necessarily outstanding. Food and accommodation okay. It works for one night. There was no sheltered possibility for my bike, it had to be left outside chained to the gutter. The boss's argument, nobody steals anything anyway ...

In between you were asked whether everything was good. Very friendly and competent service. Prices are good. We are happy to recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes good German cuisine. Food was good but the waiter didn't understand anything, brought wrong drinks and wrong food. There was soup at the end and the wrong soup, we had to wait a long time for drinks and food. We were looking forward to the chanterelles, they weren't part of the main course, then we decided not to eat them. You had to keep asking for everything so that you could get the drinks first, even though it wasn't even full. We're not going again, it's a shame for the cook.

I only report about the First Settler as a restaurant: the menu is plain with some interesting outliers on special cards at reasonable prices in the middle. You can get full for 10 euros. The restaurant with nice seating in the garden is on a quiet side street and the innkeepers are very friendly. If you like simple German dishes a clear recommendation.

We were only eating today. How should I start, best of all, my children had to wait an hour for their drink and we all had to wait an hour and a half for the food, we were about to go because it was finally time for the meal. The cocktails were none but were calculated as which ones. A question from the staff if everything is ok did not come. Food was ok. Unfortunately it was the first and the last time that we were there today.

The decor of the room is a bit older, but in itself okay. The cleanliness was also good. Only the capacity of the drain in the shower could cause surprises if you tend to turn the shower on a little more or fully, whether due to the water pressure. The service was impeccable. Everything worked smoothly and even a late arrival was not a problem. Simply call ahead and let us know. 80 € per night in a double room is more expensive, but the stay was good 👍 If you are in the area, I can recommend the house with a clear conscience 🙂
